Land, Wills, Trusts and Probate
Members of the Chancery team undertake work in the following areas:
Land and Trusts
Applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996; informal creation of rights in land (eg. constructive and resulting trusts/proprietary estoppel); mortgages; overriding interests; boundary disputes; easements and adverse possession.
Both contentious and non-contentious including: applications under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975; advisory and drafting work; construction issues; administration and probate actions; intestacy.
