Regulatory
The ambit of the Regulatory Team covers:
1. Health and Safety Enforcement:
Members of chambers often advise and appear on behalf of both the prosecution and defence in cases concerning health and safety enforcement, from minor cases in the magistrates’ court to the most serious cases in the Crown Court.
2. Police Misconduct Proceedings:
Chambers has for many years offered specialists in this area of practice. Members often advise and appear in misconduct cases of the most serious and complicated nature.
3. Professional Disciplinary Proceedings:
Chambers is able to offer members with expertise in General Medical Council and other healthcare and professional disciplinary tribunals.
4. Inquests:
Members of chambers frequently represent interested persons at inquests, from the most straightforward inquest to those involving the most complicated factual and legal issues.
5. Expertise is also available in areas such as environmental law, trading standards and licensing.
