Park Court Chambers is a large and well-established set of Chambers comprising 62 barristers in Leeds, including 11 QCs. 17 of our Members sit in a part-time capacity as Deputy High Court Judges, Recorders or Tribunal Chairmen. Chambers employs 13 members of staff, including clerks and support staff..
With the increase in specialisation, Park Court Chambers have developed to respond to the needs of clients both in strength and depth. Chambers is divided into three principal practice areas covering criminal, civil and family litigation with specialist teams for areas such as regulatory and police law, mediation, employment, housing/landlord and tenant, commercial/chancery, personal injury, immigration and mental health.
We are proud of our strong reputation for conducting substantial cases. Major criminal, regulatory, civil and family cases together with complex medical negligence and health and safety prosecutions are all undertaken as part of daily work of Chambers, in addition to inquests, judicial review and cases involving human rights issues. Numerous cases are conducted in the Court of Appeal and House of Lords and members of the specialist teams have appeared in the European Court.
