Park Court are pleased to announce that Elaine Skittrell will join Chambers from 6th October 2008


Elaine has gained significant experience in the field of social housing and regularly appears on behalf of landlords and tenants. She has conducted possession hearings which have been coupled with injunction and committal applications, often lasting 2 or 3 days. Elaine also regularly provides written advice in relation to other housing issues such as disrepair and breach of covenant.

 

Elaine also has a varied personal injury practice which encompasses road traffic accidents, accidents at work, Highways Act claims, Occupiers’ Liability Act claims and disease cases. Elaine regularly provides advice on quantum, liability and evidence in relation to personal injury cases and is happy to accept instructions on a Conditional Fee basis. In addition to advisory work Elaine is often instructed to conduct hearings relating to costs, pre-action disclosure and applications to strike out and/or summary judgment.
