Park Court Chambers wins the McCormicks Halloween Quiz

In celebration of the Celtic New Year, our friends at McCormicks were kind enough to invite us to their Halloween quiz, and to let us win.  As Dracula’s guests for the night, we were (trick or) treated to four hellish rounds of obscure trivia on all things deathly and occult (did you know Rod Stewart used to work as a grave-digger...?), culminating in a spot of traditional apple bobbing, expertly undertaken by our head clerk, Jo.  Costumes were not obligatory but nevertheless my team mates refused to remove their ghoulish masks, even for the presentation of our prizes.  Needless to say, we were delighted with our ‘best in show’ trophy, bottle of bubbly and elegant champagne flutes and while it seems that several flutes have lost some skeletal digits, I am assured that it had nothing to do with the finger buffet served between rounds.  Many thanks to all at McCormicks for a great night, and to my team mates for compensating for my distinct lack of knowledge of horror films!
